Intermune (ITMN) Conference Call Rundown
So during the Intermune conference call there were several questions regarding the company’s Roche partnership on Danoprevir, but I think what investors really wanted to hear was more information on Pirfenidone. So let me cover the more important parts of the call in relation to the drug.
The company noted that in early July that they had submitted their briefing information to the FDA in preparation for their discussion with the agency over the Complete Response Letter they received this year. Intermune further commented that they will be having the end of review meeting with the FDA on August 2,2010 and a lot more clarity would be gotten from that meeting.

My wife is in year 6 of IPF, she’s been removed from the transplant list due to cancer (Probably a result of Cellcept). I’m amazed that docs who were omce so heated pirfenidone have suddenly gone so cold, (I’m not even allowed to discuss the idea of searching for a source for the drug).
So any info concerning pirfenidone’s availability or efficacy would be appreciated.
