Jazz Pharmaceuticals (JAZZ) JZP-6 Part I
This is part I of an analysis I’ll be doing on Jazz Pharmaceuticals drug JZP-6. Part I is geared towards newbies in pharma investing and covers the basic dates before the advisory panel.
So anytime there is an Advisory hearing I like to post a timeline of events that will occur before the panel meeting. On August 20, 2010, the FDA will meet with Jazz Pharmaceuticals to discuss their fibromyalgia drug JZP-6, but before this date some key events occur that will most likely make the stock volatile. This analysis will go through those events and how you as an investor should be prepared for them. Before I start, however, I would like to note that there was a rather large article in this week’s Pink Sheet (article here) and if you would like a copy simply email me at admin@gekkowire.com (it may take until Monday for me to get it to you though).
Briefing Documents Release Date:
The company has noted that they will have to meet with an FDA advisory panel on August 20, 2010. A very important date for investors lies 2 days before this date though. Usually, two days before the FDA advisory hearing (in this case August 18), the FDA will release their briefing documents to the public (also I would like to point out that the FDA can release them even earlier, but I haven’t seen them do that in over two years now).
