Hello, friends, i am 46 old female with metast.breast ca to liver (solitary),is there any benifits to me from this vaccine and how i can get it
thank you
Which Vaccine are you referring to?
Hey Guys,
I would like to know if you could write a short article on the approval chances of intermune (ITMN) on May,4.2010 and a projection of itsStock Price if approved, Thx..
Steve, I will have the article up by Saturday morning at the latest. I am still working out a price target for the drug. In short, in my honest opinion I think the drug has a very high likelihood of approval (somewhere in the range of 90% approval, to 10% no approval). However, the company is going to have to have a patient registry because the FDA was very concerned that the drug was only working on certain patient types (I’m still picking through the transcript of the meeting for more info that I may have glazed over). I can’t imagine the FDA wants to take a chance on not-approving this one, especially since the Provenge disaster that they FINALLY sorted out today.
I just want to thank you again for the thorough and insight full articles that you post here. Do you have any insights in to QCOR and there panel meeting for Acthar Gel that is coming up on May 6?
Do you have an opinion about Geron’s vaccine? Their released data (tiny sample size) is quite encouraging….
I have some very minor coverage of Geron’s vaccines here: http://www.gekkowire.com/?p=2252
they are much more widely known for their Stem Cells that I have covered here: http://www.gekkowire.com/?p=2360
Hi and congrats for the excellent coverage you provide.
At the beginning of another ASCO run-up could you drop a few lines on EXEL, MRNA, CRXX and YMI (again…)?
Thanks and keep up the invaluable work.
Mr. Chambers,
I enjoy reading your blog and was hoping to get your opinion on the development state company Cytosorbents (CTSO.OB). The company has been developing a patented, unique device for the treatment of Sepsis in humans. Preliminary data has been extremely positive and current trials in Germany are 60% complete (based on April enrollment numbers). Upon completion of the trial sometime this year and positive results, the company is planning to seek a CE Mark approval in Europe. After that, the plan is to begin clinical trials in the U.S. Given the difficulty of treating sepsis and the limited options available (many of which have unpleasant side effects), I believe Cytosorbents could have the “holy grail” for treating Sepis. Your opinion would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
I would like an update on the vvus vs. arna weight loss drugs….
also, any interest in covering MDRNA? (mrna)
I will get around to them after this year’s ASCO conference. I have looked at MDRNA siRNA technology and am looking for more data on it.
you were spot on with your ACUR articles…I wish I had trimmed going into the panel meeting…
VVUS looks like a similar situation to me
Hello admin,
Have you looked at ALXA. Please let us know your views on ALXA. Thanks for your help.
Take Care
I would be curious if you do any work on the device side as I would love to hear your opinion on AspenBio Pharma and their pending results for a fast test for appendicitis?
Yes I have covered several companies in the device area. It is much more simplistic and straightforward. I can get to that company, but it will take awhile, I have to cover the ASCO stocks for now.
Hi
Not sure you got my request for comments on ALXA. Would you be willing to share what you think about it?
Thanks
Thanks admin! Looking forward to your posts, they are very informative. Thanks for all you do!
I would appreciate any comments you might have on CHTP.
They have been running a 2 part phase3 trail for Northera ( droxidopa) to treat Parkinsons patients with NOH. The first phase missed its endpoint due to how the endpoint was chosen. During discussions with the FDA, they ask and received a change in the endpoint for the 2nd part of the trial. Trial results, for the second half, are due out in the 3rd quarter.
CHTP’s CEO has stated that if this new endpoint had been in place for the first part of the trial, it would have passed FDA.
The only drug that is currently FDA approved for NOH in PA (midodrine) is at risk of being removed from the market due to their failure to complete the required efficacy FDA trials.
I would be interested in your valuation of this drug if/when approved.
Thanks, love your site
I would appreciate your take on Positron Corp. (POSC).
Hi, it’s me again. Binary question: will the current sell off and short assault, or whatever is keeping the market down, be a damper on any positive news out of asco?
Hello, any thoughts on JAV? It seems that the latest selloff is a little overdone, maybe I’m not seeing all sides….any thoughts on chances of buyout by HSP still occurring? Thanks!
Hi,
maybe a review of GenVec (GNVC) would come in handy, the stock has climbed some 25% in the past 3 days after that news release from Brazil regarding an HIV vaccine… rumour, worth digging into.
Ok, I will look into GenVec. I followed them heavily for awhile when they had TNFerade in Phase III.
Hi,
Would like your opinion about Mela Sciences (MELA). They’ve just announced that the FDA will be reviewing their MelaFind device on Aug 26th.
Thank you.
I tried to send you an email to “www.admin@gekkowire.com” and failed. The following is the error message I received:
Technical details of permanent failure:

Ok, I am having email problems today, because I testing out new spam software, that is all. How can I help?
POSC should be part of a Hugh announcement very soon…any possibility of getting your take before any news is out?
Speculation on the street has them doing some type of deal with Covidien…all I know is it will center on the New Nuclear Pharm-Assist and single dose radiopharmaceuticals (Lanthius??) In turn leading to a tremendous increase in sales also for The Attrius™ Cardiac PET Scanner.
would like your opinion on Repros Therapeutics on their possible FDA uplift. News out on 4/30 that they will follow FDA guidance to reconfigure Proellex trial, but since then stock has been dropping without news. it would be great if you could tap a call to see if they are working hard on the process and if news is imminent.
I will eventually get around to most of the companies, but I am so busy with the coverage that I currently provide. Best,
Do you have any idea what ACUR is worth? and if they resubmit their pain pill sans niacin, will it make any money?
Thanks
could you right something about opexa therapeutics on their lead drug Tovaxin?
Watch POSC in next few trading days…sure would like to get your take on this company.
Have you looked at Icad, Inc (ICAD)? Very interesting technology?
Hello, Do you have any opinion on ULU ( Amex) ? Thanks
Hi Admin,
Wonderful job done by you. I really enjoy your thorough and neutral analysis.
I am following CVM (Cel Sci) and it looks pretty interesting to me. Would love to have some feedback on this from you. The stock is languishing around $0.5 now…
Whats your current take on EXEL? With 310 million in cash, a robust pipeline and multiple partners, this one sure looks like a potential takeover candidate.
I will have a brief post on them on Monday. They have several partners though, which makes a valuation more difficult.
I thought over the weekend you said that on Monday you were going to send out a copy of the Pink Sheet article regarding the criticism of the FDA Advisory Panel’s vote on Qnexa. Did I misunderstand or did something else happen? I do greatly appreciate the information you give as it can be somewhat difficult to find anything of substance anywhere else. Thanks.
